A gigantic mass of paper mache pandas will appear at Gangnam Station on Monday.

The public art project, "1,600 Pandas World Tour," will be installed from noon to 5 p.m. at the station's M Stage, according to the Gangnam-gu Office and advertising agency Innocean Worlwide.

The project, created by French artist Paulo Grangeon, aims to raise awareness of endangered species. The number 1,600 represents how many pandas are left in the world.
