Luxury hotels have released a variety of unique programs and packages designed to provide guests with chances to enjoy culture and art.
They are offering large-scale media art exhibitions and in-room operas, and even a library filled with a variety of books, in response to growing demand from guests and visitors for richer cultural experiences during their stay.
The integrated resort complex Paradise City is showcasing a grand cinematic audiovisual media art exhibition, "INSCAPE ― Voyage to Hidden Landscape" by Herman Kolgen, a Canadian artist renowned for his multifaceted multimedia works.
The exhibition is being held until Feb. 6 in five of the resort's major venues, including Paradise Art Space, and shows eight of the artist's works, including a new work that is being exhibited for the first time anywhere.
The new work, "BACTERIUM," reflects the characteristics of the coronavirus and the pattern in which the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, according to the resort.

The Shilla Seoul has released the "In Room Opera" package for guests who want to watch an opera from the comfort of their private room.
The package is available until Nov. 30 and offers five opera videos, in addition to two movie tickets at a CGV theater as a special gift.

The Westin Josun Seoul is presenting the "Fall in Record" package, aimed at bringing back an analog vibe for its guests.
The package, which is available until Nov. 21, offers a black-and-white film camera or turntable that helps guests enjoy analog audio, according to the type of room they choose.

For its part, the Grand Walkerhill Seoul has set up a "Walkerhill Library" on the second floor of the hotel that has some 3,000 books encompassing various genres, including novels, essays, science, art and children's books.
Hotel guests can use the library from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
