Coway is showcasing 23 "smart" home appliances and care services at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from Jan. 5 to 8, the company said Thursday.

It is the second time Korea's largest home appliance rental service firm has participated in the world's largest consumer electronics show.

Coway's booth at the CES, "Care Station," has four sections that exhibit a wide range of air purifiers, water purifiers, bidets, mattresses and cosmetics products.

The company plans to promote an internet-linked water purifier, a robotic air purifier, an air purifier equipped with Amazon's artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Alexa, and an air mattress. The firm also plans to pitch its innovative, big data-based home-care solution that provides unprecedented smart, ubiquitous and tailored user experiences.

"We took part in the CES to enable people to experience how our innovative home-care products and services can change their lives," company CEO Lee Hae-seon said in Las Vegas. "We will continue to lead a trend in the home appliance market by introducing more advanced goods and services, combined with the internet of things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence and other newly emerging technologies."

Coway plans to promote its latest IoT water purifier, which helps users develop a healthy water-drinking pattern. The appliance also analyzes raw water and then suggests optimal filters and other components to provide the cleanest and safest drinking water.

The company will also unveil its innovative robotic air purifier that monitors and diagnoses air quality in real time. The device moves to areas where levels of fine dust and other pollutants rise to purify the air.

"We will also introduce another innovative air purifier equipped with Amazon's AI platform that recognizes users' voices," a Coway spokesman said. "Our latest air mattress will help those who snore to get a good night's sleep. We will also actively promote our big data-centered home-care consulting service program that helps users establish a healthier lifestyle."
