North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana in Singapore on Sunday (June 10) for bilateral talks.
Kim is in Singapore for the widely anticipated summit with U.S. President Donald Trump on June 12.
Singapore, the host country for the summit, has expressed optimism that the meeting between the two leaders will alleviate tensions in the region.
It will be the first meeting between a sitting DPRK top leader and a sitting U.S. president.
