"Our capability of giving every song a distinct SHINee style is what makes us strong on music charts," Minho of SHINee said during a press conference held at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in southern Seoul, Monday.

Commemorating their 10-year anniversary, leading K-pop band SHINee has returned with their sixth full-length album "The Story of Light," which consists of three five-track albums that will be unveiled serially.

The first installment of the new album, led by the lead track "Good Evening" hit the market on May 28, and the second, including its title track "I Want You" was unveiled Monday.

Following the release the second album, the group notched the top spot on local online streaming services and peaked on iTunes World Albums chart in 25 countries, including Denmark, Spain, Greece, Finland and Poland.

The third part of the new album with its main track "Our Page" is set for release on June 25.

This is the first album after its member Jonghyun committed suicide last December. The remaining members admitted they've struggled after the tragic loss, but are willing to move on.

"Our new album is a collection of all the images SHINee has showcased throughout the decade. EP.1 tracks mirrors how others view SHINee while EP.2 reflects how we imagine ourselves," Key said. "EP.3 will consist of songs with medium-tempo R&B style."

Although the now-four-member band has garnered a reputation for artistic music and high-quality performances, members showed eagerness to continue on to be trendsetters and try out new genres of music.

"We are still young, fresh and eager to experiment with new musical concepts," Taemin said. "If I were a woman, I would definitely have fallen in love with SHINee."

Their 10-year career has given members the ability to interpret their music into a SHINee style.

"We pride ourselves on how we perform and produce music. Now a lot of people comment on our songs 'it sounds like SHINee' just by listening to a few rhythmic lines," Minho said.

When asked where they see themselves 10 years from now, leader Onew said "I still want to be part of SHINee, and hope our fans would stay with us by then."

The members revealed they've recently renewed their contract with SM Entertainment, their agency. "As we renewed our contract, producer Lee Soo-man and the group agreed, this is just the beginning."

Since making its debut, SHINee has earned worldwide fame and had numerous hit songs such as "Love Like Oxygen," "Juliette," "Ring Ding Dong," "Lucifer," "Sherlock" and "Everybody."
