Actress Lee Si-won, 31, disclosed Tuesday on tvN talk show "Problematic Men" that her father was the former chairman of Mensa Korea, the high-IQ society.
"My father has invented things that are in use, including a tool that helps correct writing habits," the actress said. "His bucket list includes inventing 10 things that can change the world."
"I helped my father since I was four. I have six invention patents as well."
Lee has bachelor's and master's degrees from the prestigious Seoul National University (SNU). She studied business administration and evolutionary psychology.
"I first began acting in a college theater group and was most fond of it even after going to graduate school," she said.
In "Problematic Men," the cast compete against each other to solve riddles and Lee amazed others with her great problem-solving skills.
"I was anxious because it was the first time for me to be featured in an entertainment program, but others helped me," she said.
Lee has starred in popular dramas including "Misaeng: Incomplete Life" and "Suits."
