A medical camp for patients was organized in India's northern Srinagar city on Saturday (August 10) where a group of doctors hailing from South Korea provided medical assistance to the people in the strife-torn province.

It was organised by a local non-governmental organization in collaboration with Kyung Hee University Medical Center, South Korea, with an aim to boost ties between the two nations. Around 400 patients were treated and examined by 30 medical professionals during the camp.

Local residents were all praises for the camp as it provided free and good treatment to the patients. A patient said, it was a good initiative and urged people from all cities and villages to come to the camp.

Hemoglobin tests, urine analysis, blood sugar tests, Transvaginal ultrasound and ultrasonography were among others scans and tests that were conducted on the patients. (Reuters)
