Eating god is one of the saju stars according to the five elements circulation and their interactions that tells of one's luck of having things to eat and generally explains one's talents, eloquence and popularity. It is usually introduced as an expression star to read lives of experts and entertainers.
The evaluation of saju stars shouldn't be limited to a certain type of occupation though. For instance, an archetypal profession for a saju of knowledge stars is a teacher, while that of career stars is a politician and that of money stars is entrepreneur and so on. Nevertheless, people may become politicians not only for their aspiration of power but for their reputation and public perception which can be told by the expression stars. An outstanding scholar cannot make an excellent professor without the necessary capability to express their knowledge to teach students.
The expression star shows the way people display their emotions and aptitudes. When it is well located in a good relationship with a day master, it can make a very talented and popular person. The expression stars for each day master are as below.

In Saju classics, the expression star is divided into an eating god and a rebellious god. The former is obviously considered as a lucky god while the latter the ill luck. People with strong rebellious elements would find it hard to obey their boss and follow the rules.
Whereas "expression" is a key for modern people, during the days when it was not as unconstrained as now, there were not many channels for expression except for writings and readings, which were often used to rap out their grievance. That's why it was called the rebellious god and it is a different yin-yang from the day master.
On the other hand, the eating god, the same yin-yang as the day master, was valued highly when it was really hard to make a living. These days many TV or internet programs, named "mukbang," show eating and cooking, signifying the great interest of the public in eating food.
When someone who likes eating or has talents in cooking, has success in the restaurant business, you may find the eating gods in their saju and evaluate their positions and roles. First of all, the eating gods should have good compatibility with the day master to make a lucky god, located in the heavenly stems, either in the year or in the month pillar to associate and connect the other elements.
I displayed herewith saju of two, one for Lee Young-ja who is loved by public for her tasty explanation about food and the other for a famous mukbang YouTuber who gained millions of viewers. You will see how their expression stars or eating gods (circled) play an important role either as a mediator or coordinator to compose their saju.
