The event, hosted by the Hankook Ilbo, sister paper of The Korea Times, in collaboration with the Korea Native Chicken Association and the Korea Poultry Board, will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Baekbeom Square on Mount Nam in Seoul, to promote chicken consumption.
All participants will be offered free drinks provided by Nongshim mid-way through the course.
The showcase of native chickens will be held at Backbeom Square, along with complimentary chicken tasting.
After completing the walkathon, participants will have a photo session. Miss Korea beauty pageant winners will join the walkathon and a variety of events, including a performance by the four-member K-pop girl group LIVE HIGH, will take place on the sidelines.

Volunteers who participate in the cleanup will receive a certificate confirming their completion of three hours of volunteer work.
