U.S. Billboard has spotlighted girl band BLACKPINK's collaboration with popular British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa.

BLACKPINK, the only girl group from Korea's leading entertainment agency YG Entertainment, teamed with Lipa on the song "Kiss and Make Up," a bilingual dance track included on the artist's latest album.

The song, which was released on Oct. 19, quickly topped the iTunes chart in 21 countries and made 8th place on the U.S. chart.

A Billboard review says the song is "thriving on their addictive vocals," introducing the profile of each groupmember ― Jisoo, Rose, Lisa, and Jennie.

It noted that this was the first time the group and Lipa had worked together.

Forbes magazine also devoted a lengthy preview of the song, calling it an "East-meets-West summit between international It Girls."

Calling BLACKPINK "one of the K-pop girl groups with the most crossover potential," the magazine says the teamwork shown on the song made it feel like Lipa was part of the group.

BLACKPINK reached No. 55 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which is the highest a K-pop girl group has reached. On YouTube, the song became one of the most-viewed music videos within a day. Jennie is expected to release a solo album by the end of the year and the three others also plan to release solo albums soon.
