About 4,000 fans were on hand at the Thunder Dome in Bangkok Saturday to meet Korean actor Park Bo-gum on his Asian tour.

"2019 Park Bo Gum Asia Tour" was the actor's chance to meet fans in the Asian region and tell them about his latest news and thoughts about the films and TV dramas in which he has starred. He even re-enacted scenes on stage with local fans, repeating much-mouthed scenes from TV series in which he has appeared.

Bangkok was the third destination of Park's Asian tour and his second visit to the city following his 2016-17 Asia Tour.

In the second part of the fan meeting, Park, 25, played piano, sang songs in Thai and danced as well.

After the show, the star of the 2015 hit TV series "Reply 1988" on tvN bid farewell to each fan, even shaking their hands, according to his agency Blossom Entertainment.

His big break from the TV series continued with another TV performance in "Love in the Moonlight" on KBS, a historic romance aired in 2016 in which he played Crown Prince Hyomyeong from the Joseon Dynasty.

He also expanded his field to K-pop when he became a host at "Music Bank" on KBS in 2015.

As well as recording the ballad single "Let's go see the stars" last year, the celebrity from Seoul's Yangcheon district has also appeared in about 40 advertisements, including ones for Samsung Electronics and Coca Cola.

Starting in Seoul, Park's Asian tour continued to Japan. Following Thailand he is en route to Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan.
