The "workplace romance" of two hot celebrities has ended.
TV personality Jun Hyun-moo and fashion model Han Hye-jin, co-stars of popular MBC reality show "I Live Alone," announced their breakup on Wednesday. They also will temporarily leave the program, according to their agencies.
"Jun and Han recently broke up and will get back to being good co-workers," Han's agency ESteem Entertainment said. "After having a discussion with the crew, the pair decided to have some time out for a break after the airing of the show on March 8. We are sorry for affecting the show owing to a private affair."
SM C&C, which represents Jun, said: "Although it is personal news, we thought it was our duty to let people know of it, considering the great love the pair has received from people."
The program's crew also released a statement that read: "The two people said they needed time for themselves and we respect that. We will leave their spots empty for the time being."
The pair, who showed chemistry on the program, confirmed they were dating in February last year. A rumor of their breakup circulated in December, but both denied it.
Jun is the former news presenter at KBS, the national public broadcaster. Han has featured on the covers of several fashion magazines and walked the runway at New York Fashion Week from 2006 to 2008.
