Women secretly taped by singer Jung Joon-young in his sex videos begged for help when they were confronted with it, says the reporter who broke the story.

"They were shocked and [one] told me she felt terrified," said Kang Kyung-yoon, a reporter who covers entertainment for SBS. "They worried that if it were known to others, their life would be like living with a big shameful scarlet letter on their forehead."

Kang said the "victims" were afraid to take legal action against Jung because it would reveal their identities.

Most of the women filmed, are in their early 20s and have little to do with the entertainment industry.
