Another name has been added to the K-pop stars allegedly involved in sex-for-business favors and video-sharing via online chatrooms ― CNBLUE guitarist Lee Jong-hyun.

TV broadcaster SBS reported on Thursday that the Korean rock band star was among those who shared illicit videos with Jung Joon-young and Seungri, whose alleged activities sparked the ongoing scandal earlier this week.

The SBS report revealed that a captured Kakao Talk chatroom screen showed a conversation between Lee and Jung. In it, Lee, 28, urgently asks Jung for a "young, pretty, docile" woman to have sex with, using an abusive Korean expression for the woman. The conversation was undated.

Lee's involvement in the scandal was hinted at days ago when SBS said one participant in the video-sharing chatroom ― allegedly joined by Jung and Seungri ― could be "a singer with the surname Lee."

FNS Entertainment, the band's agency, released a statement saying that Lee and Jung "only are longtime friends and Lee is unrelated to the scandal."

On Friday morning, following Thursday's report, Lee erased all posts in Instagram "cnbluegt," which has about 2.1 million followers.

Lee has been doing his compulsory military service since August 2018.

On Thursday, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency subpoenaed Jung and Seungri to question them regarding the scandal.

Seungri, who managed Seoul nightclub Burning Sun in Gangnam-gu, allegedly used to offer sexual services to his VIP clients. Jung and his friends allegedly used an online chatroom to share illegally filmed sex videos featuring Jung and his dates.

Jung's alleged offenses took place over eight months in 2015.

Seungri, a former member of K-pop boy band BigBang, and Jung, a rocker and TV personality, left the agency Friday morning.
