K-pop mega group BTS will be on stage at the Billboard Music Awards again this year.

According to Big Hit Entertainment, singer Halsey will also perform at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m., May 1 (local time).

BTS will showcase its latest collaboration for "Boy With Luv," the title song from its new album "Map of the Soul: Persona."

It will be the second time BTS has performed for the BBMA following an appearance last year. Top pop artists confirmed to be performing along with BTS include Kelly Clarkson, Khalid, Sam Smith and Mariah Carey.

This year, BTS is nominated for the Top Duo/Group and Top Social Artist categories. While it is the group's first nod for the Top Duo/Group award, it won the award for Top Social Artist in 2017 and 2018. NBC will broadcast the awards ceremony live.

The news about BTS' awards appearance was made initially by NBC during the boy band's appearance on U.S. sketch show "Saturday Night Live," during which BTS performed its newly released song "Boy With Luv." BTS is the first Korean musical guest to appear on the show.

Meanwhile, BTS' music video for "Boy With Luv" has set a record for YouTube's most-streamed video in the first 24 hours of its release.

The video, available on YouTube on Friday, had more than 78 million views in the first 24 hours, surpassing the record set earlier this month by BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" video, which racked up 56.7 million views. The BTS video topped 100 million views at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday, passing the 100 million mark on the global video sharing service at the fastest pace ever.
