Singer Park Hyo-shin is reportedly being sued over an alleged 400 million won fraud, a local new outlet reported Friday.

According to the report, the complaint alleges that Park received cash and luxury goods worth 400 million won ($345,800) over two years from 2014, on condition of entering a contract with the plaintiff's agency. The verbal agreement was made around the time Park's contract with his former agency Jellyfish Entertainment was about to expire in August 2016.

But the complaint claimed Park later broke the agreement and signed with his current agency Glove Entertainment. When the plaintiff attempted to reach him and complain, Park did not respond to any calls or messages, according to the report.

Following the report, Glove Entertainment released a statement denying the allegations. The agency also warned of a tougher response to what it said were acts of defamation and proliferating false information with malicious intent.
