Beyonce releases 'Spirit' from new 'Lion King' album
비욘세는 새 영화 '라이온킹' OST 앨범 수록곡 '스피릿'을 공개했다.
Beyonce has released "Spirit," a new song from the Lion King album curated by the singer titled The Gift.
비욘세가 공개한 신곡 '스피릿'은 영화 라이온킹의 OST 앨범인 '라이온킹: 더기프트' 앨범 수록곡이다.
"Spirit" will also appear on the soundtrack for Disney's photo realistic remake of The Lion King where Beyonce voices the character of Nala.
'스피릿'은 디즈니의 실사화 리메이크작인 영화 '라이온 킹'의 사운드트랙으로 영화에 나올 예정으로, 비욘세는 영화 속 주요 캐릭터인 '날라'의 목소리 연기를 맡았다.
The track was released on Tuesday through YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal.
이번 신곡은 유튜브, 스포티파이, 애플뮤직, 아마존, 타이달을 통해 공개됐다.
"Your destiny is coming close/ Stand up and fight/ So go into that far off land/ And be one with the great I am, I am/ A boy becomes a man," Beyonce sings.
비욘세는 이 곡에서 "너의 운명이 다가오고 있어/ 일어서서 싸워야해/ 그러니 저 먼 땅으로 가/ 그리고 위대한 나와 하나가 되어라/ 소년은 남자가 되네"라고 노래한다.
The Gift, Disney tweeted, will feature global artists and is steeped in the sounds of Africa.
디즈니는 트위터에 "라이온킹OST '더기프트' 앨범은 세계적인 아티스트들이 참여하며 아프리카의 소리를 푹 담았다"고 트윗을 올렸다.
The Gift is set for release on July 19, the same day the film arrives into theaters.
라이온킹 OST 앨범 '더 기프트'는 영화의 개봉일인 이달 19일에 발매된다.
The soundtrack for the film will be released on Thursday. Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogan, John Oliver and Keegan-Michael Key also star in the film. (UPI)
