Seoul City Hall plans to hold an event led by citizens' voluntary participation later this week.

The event named Dalrara Trip, which means "we are different," will be held from Friday to Sunday at the Citizens Hall in the first basement floor the City Hall.

As the name of the event suggests, its theme is about "respecting differences and finding true self."

It will be comprised of a variety of programs such as performance, exhibition and experience, and there will be special performances by singers, b-boy groups and YouTubers during the event to add more excitement to the festival.

Citizens Hall has hosted such an event twice a year since 2016, and the Dalrara Trip will be the first such event this year.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the event will be divided into four citizen-participating programs that will be available each day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A radio booth will be set up at Citizens Plaza, where DJs will introduce citizens' private stories which couldn't be shared otherwise. Visitors can also have their stories shared on the spot, while DJs will spin music.

The event will also offer a program that will allow people who are stressed out in relationships to have an opportunity to understand each other and recognize their true selves.

Along with the programs, special performances will be put on at 1 p.m. during the event period, spearheaded by Joy Vocal and fusion crossover group Almighty, which regularly perform at Citizens Hall, on Friday.

On Saturday, popular YouTuber Diana will show off a K-pop dance performance, followed by b-boy group Gambler Crew. In addition, male duo Norazo, known for their eccentric performances and comical lyrics, is ready to make the show reach fever pitch.

On the final day, two groups showing Korean and Tahitian traditional dances respectively will wrap up the three-day event.

Also, there will be a special photo zone featuring a full moon on which people can make wishes. In Korea, people traditionally make a wish on the full moon for good luck and health throughout the year.

"We hope this year's Citizens Hall event will help people visiting the place get over the hot summer and have an opportunity to find their true selves," said Park Jin-young, director-general of the Public Communications Bureau at Seoul City Hall.

"We are set to provide more exciting and helpful programs for citizens in the future."
