Grand Hyatt Seoul wins MICE award

The Grand Hyatt Seoul has been selected as the best MICE hotel at the Meeting and Convention Stella Awards.

This award is given annually by the Northstar Travel Group, a global MICE company serving over 350,000 meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions (MICE) clients in more than 13 countries. It recognizes businesses that offer innovative MICE services, including hotels, airlines, convention centers and cruise lines. It picks 25 outstanding companies in seven categories.

The property is known for its unequaled MICE facilities, including its expansive Grand Ballroom and Grand Salon venues, meeting the growing and ever-changing needs of the MICE market.


InterContinental hotels offer package promotion for Chuseok

The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and the InterContinental Seoul COEX present their 2019 Chuseok package promotion that will make the four-day holiday more memorable.

The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, which is linked to Parnas Mall on the basement floor, offers a 50,000 won mobile voucher as part of its Chuseok package deals. It can be used at the shopping mall, which features various restaurants and more than 50 retail brands. Those who prefer to stay in the hotel can select a breakfast voucher for two instead.

The InterContinental Seoul COEX's promotion comes with two admission vouchers for the COEX Aquarium that are worth 56,000 won each or breakfast at its buffet restaurant.


Paradise City provides anniversary promotion

Paradise City, the first integrated resort complex in Northeast Asia, has come up with a promotion for this month that will give guests the biggest bang for their buck on the occasion of the first anniversary of its entertainment facilities.

Its luxury boutique hotel Art Paradiso has launched its anniversary promotion, under which guests can have a complimentary breakfast for two at its contemporary Korean dining restaurant Serase and earn double membership rewards. Plus, booking on its official website gives an additional 10,000 won ($8.27) discount.

Another promotion at its spa Cimer is also available, under which visitors can get a free noodle dish and drinks along with various complimentary activity programs.

Also, high-profile artists, including Dutch musician Julian Jordan, will perform at its nightclub Chroma, Sept. 28, to celebrate the anniversary.


Park Hyatt Busan presents autumn afternoon tea set

The Park Hyatt Busan's Lounge will begin presenting its autumn afternoon tea set Sept. 9 to give a mouthwatering experience of the taste and aroma of autumn.

It offers differentiated desserts for guests to enjoy the autumn flavors of ingredients in a rich harvest season, comprising more than 10 kinds of savory and sweet selections and home-made scones.

In particular, guests can enjoy desserts such as pear pecan tart, apple coffee cream, persimmon jelly mousse, chestnut pound cake, red bean cream eclair and other sensual desserts that evoke the scent and natural taste of seasonal fruit.

It is available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
