Wendy, of K-pop girl band Red Velvet, who fell from a lift during a concert rehearsal, is unable to bite and can only eat soft foods, other members said Sunday.

Wendy, who fell from a two meter-high lift during a rehearsal for a K-pop music show on SBS on Dec. 25, can only eat food like tofu stew or steamed eggs, according to four members of the band.

"She has a bright nature, so doesn't really express her stress," Wendy's fellow members reportedly said at the band's fan-meeting at COEX SM Town in Seoul's Gangnam District. The meeting was held after the band released its latest repackaged album "The ReVe Festival Finale" on Dec. 23.

Irene, Seulgi, Joy and Yeri told the fan-meeting they will share the main vocalist's part while Wendy recovers.

Wendy, 25, broke her pelvis and right wrist after the lift, which she was supposed to walk down like a staircase, failed to support her and stopped working, causing her to fall.

SBS officials, who planned the event at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul's Mapo District, apologized for the accident in a written statement. They said they immediately called the emergency rescue service to take her to a Seoul general hospital.

Fans, in an attempt to encourage the star, on Dec. 26 showed "Wendy, we love you" on Naver's top 10 real-time search keyword ranks ― by typing in the phrase at the country's largest online portal site simultaneously.

The other Red Velvet stars told the fan-meeting they had image-captured the phrase on Naver's top 10 rank ― when it was No. 2 at 5:50 p.m. on Dec. 26 ― and showed it to Wendy, who was pleased.
