K-pop rookie TXT's music video (MV) of debut song "CROWN" passed 100 million views on YouTube, Saturday.
The MV of "CROWN," the lead track of the five-piece group's debut album "The Dream Chapter: Star," was disclosed in last March.
"TXT has proved its potential by reaching the milestone less than a year following its debut," said the quintet's agency Big Hit Entertainment, also home to K-pop megastars BTS.
The clip exceeded 10 million hits only 13 hours after its release.
The band thanked its followers on Twitter. Huening Kai, the youngest member, also penned a hand-written letter of appreciation.
"CROWN" is a trendy synth pop offering that revolves around the boys' growing pains. The video boasts unique visual beauty with a touch of motion graphics and cartoon animation.
TXT, also known as TOMORROW X TOGETHER, comprises Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. The group recently released its first studio album "The Dream Chapter: Magic," fronted by "Run Away."
It will hold a special fan event "2020 TXT FANLIVE DREAM X TOGETHER" at Blue Square iMarket Hall in central Seoul on Mar. 7-8.
