Hyundai Engineering & Construction has begun sales of its Hillstate Lake apartment complex in Incheon's Songdo and opened a virtual model house for prospective buyers to get a better glimpse of the dwellings.
The virtual model house includes an introduction video as well as tutorial ofn the apartment so people can check out all the features without visiting a physical model house.
Hillstate Lake Songdo is a complex of eight 49-storey apartment buildings plus two basement levels, totaling 1,100 households. The virtual model house can be visited through a link on the Hillstate Lake official homepage. A virtual reality (VR) tour of the apartment is available.
The new apartment complex is located in Songdo Landmark City within the Songdo International Business District.
Songdo Landmark City spans 5.8 square kilometers including housing, tourism and leisure activities all in one. Around the complex numerous means of transportation are under development including Incheon Subway Line 1 that is scheduled to be opened in December as well as a highway that is planned to be built in the area.
In addition, the GTX-B express train line is expected to be launched in the future, which will connect Songdo with Seoul's bustling business district of Yeouido as well as Maseok Station in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
There are also plans to connect Songdo Station to the KTX high-speed rail network, making it the western region's transportation hub.
The Songdo IC and Okryun IC make car travel between Songdo and the Seoul metropolitan area convenient.
The area will also offer superior educational facilities, with a total of six elementary through high schools located centrally. A library is also in close proximity as well as Chadwick International School, Incheon National University and Yonsei International Campus. There are also various shopping facilities present in the area including Hyundai Premium Outlet, Costco, Lotte Mart and Home Plus among other shopping malls with more under development.
