K-pop girl group TWICE will hold its first virtual concert "Beyond LIVE ― TWICE: World in A Day," Sunday.
The nine-piece girl group's concert will be live-streamed worldwide through Naver's V Live at 3 p.m. it will invite over 200 fans for video chat and select three of them for one-on-one time with the group.
The group's paid online concert is a series by Beyond Live Corp., a joint company of two leading K-pop agencies SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment.
The company incorporates the latest augmented reality technology and streaming service to provide real-time interactions between artists and audiences.
SM's boy group SuperM was the first to premiere its virtual concert in April.
TWICE ― Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu ― debuted in 2015 with the album "THE STORY BEGINS." It rose to fame soon after its debut, followed by a series of hits, including "Cheer Up" (2016) and "Knock Knock" (2017).
