K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE is soaring in global music charts with its latest album "I burn," released Monday.

According to the group's agency Cube Entertainment, Wednesday, the group's fourth mini-album has topped the iTunes Top Album charts in 51 countries, including the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Italy and Finland.

The album consists of six tracks ― the lead off song "Hwaa," and "Grudge," "Moon," "Where is love," "Lost" and "Dahlia."

The track, written by the group's leader Soyeon, also notched first place on local music charts Genie and Bugs on the day of its release.

"It feels like a dream … We worked harder than ever for this album, and we're very grateful for such huge love," the group said through the agency Tuesday.

The music video for "Hwaa" scored 10 million YouTube views in 29 hours after it hit the streaming site.

The multinational group ― comprising Miyeon, Soojin, and Soyeon from Korea, Minnie from Thailand, Yuqi from China, and Shuhua from Taiwan ― debuted in 2018 with the song "LATATA." It came under the spotlight after competing on the survival show for female K-pop artists "Queendom," last year.
