K-pop fans are in for a treat this winter as a lineup of star-studded concerts promises exciting performances across genres. From ballad singers with warming winter tunes to explosive performances by K-pop juggernauts, there's a range of live music events to look forward to in the coming months.

Soulful Soirees

Super Junior member Kyuhyun is gearing up to celebrate a decade of his solo career with the release of his first full-length album and an accompanying Asia tour this winter.

Beginning in Seoul from Dec. 20 to 22, the tour will extend to nine cities across Asia, including Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Taipei, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macao and Manila.

His new album, titled "COLORS," will be released Dec. 27, making it his first solo studio album since his debut in 2014.

Korea's beloved balladeer Sung Si-kyung will also be performing to thaw the season's chill. His concert will span four days from Dec. 27 to 29 and 31 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul's Songpa District.

While Sung has made it a tradition to hold these year-end shows, all four dates for this year sold out immediately when tickets went on sale Oct. 28, underscoring his lasting popularity.

Singer Roy Kim will also be gracing the stage this winter with his "Roy Actually" concert, bringing unforgettable memories for winter lovebirds, with a nod to the popular Christmas film "Love Actually."

Set for three shows from Dec. 6 to 8 at the Olympic Park's Handball Stadium, the upcoming show marks his first since last year's "Roy Note" concert. Tickets for the initially planned two-day show sold out immediately upon release, prompting the addition of another show on Dec. 6 to meet demand.

K-pop kaleidoscope

A vibrant mix of K-pop stars are also set to provide major year-end spectacles.

Rookie boy band BOYNEXTDOOR is set to hold its "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN INCHEON" on Dec. 14-15 at the Inspire Arena on Incheon's Yeongjong Island.

Led by rapper Zico under HYBE Labels' KOZ Entertainment, BOYNEXTDOOR has quickly risen to fame, reaching its first million-seller mark with its September mini-album "19.99," which also ranked 40th on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Following its Incheon concert, the boy band will set out on tour across 13 Asian cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore and Bangkok, from January to April 2025.

Zico himself will also reconnect with fans in his solo concert, "JOIN THE PARADE," slated for Nov. 23 and 24 at Olympic Hall in southeastern Seoul's Songpa District. This concert, his first solo performance in six years, sold out within 10 minutes of ticket release in October.

Veteran idol groups with nostalgia-fueled passion are also set to reconnect with fans this winter.

The popular boy band INFINITE will kick off its 15th-anniversary tour, "LIMITED EDITION," with a concert in Seoul from Dec. 6 to 8 at the KSPO Dome, performing hits from the late 2010s. The group will then bring its show to eight Asian cities, including Taipei, Jakarta, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, for a total of 13 performances.

Having disbanded in 2021, girl group Lovelyz will also reunite with fans in celebration of its 10-year anniversary. Two shows are scheduled for Nov. 16 and 17 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul's Jung District.

With the upcoming event set to mark the group's first full-lineup performance since an online concert in 2020, Lovelyz will also release a new single, "November," set for Tuesday, celebrating its reunion.
