Hankuk University of Foreign Studies students were evacuated from their dormitory after a bomb scare Friday morning.
Seoul Dongdaemun police received a report at 10:20 a.m. of a possible bomb in a bag in a hallway on the fourth floor of Globeedorm at the Seoul campus of HUFS.
Police evacuated about 350 students, and nine fire trucks, 35 firefighters, 20 police and the army's bomb disposal unit attended.
But police found that there was nothing but trash in the suspicious bag and no bomb was discovered in the building.
After an hour's searching, police cleared the scene and allowed students and staff back into the building around noon.
