While some celebrities who had just graduated high school made headlines by sitting the national college entrance exam on Thursday, another celebrity became a hot keyword the following day for what he did on the day.

Actor Song Jae-lim revealed on Instagram that he gave rides to students who were late for the College Scholastic Ability Test. The exam began at 8:40 a.m. at 1,190 sites nationwide.

Song said he volunteered to provide the service.

A photo showed him wearing a hooded T-shirt and sitting on a silver BMW scooter somewhere in Seoul. He covered his mouth with a handkerchief on the day when air pollution levels worried test sitters.

"I am on my way home after giving the rides," Song said on the social network.

"Shout out to all the test sitters out there. You are just around the corner to becoming an adult."

The star, referring to himself as "(hashtag) normal rider," reminded the students: "The world has more questions and answers than the exam but has no wrong answers."

A comment to his post said he must have covered his face so as not to surprise his passengers. Another said he "just demonstrated how to ride the bike in the coolest way possible."

Song stars in the online cartoon series-based JTBC drama "Clean with Passion for Now." Its first episode airs later this month.
