K-pop girl group BLACKPINK will appear on one of America's most popular morning shows, "Good Morning America."

The ABC morning show said Tuesday on its Twitter account that the band's appearance is scheduled for Feb. 12 (local time). Its four members ― Jennie, Rose, Jisoo and Lisa ― will perform in the live show at its Times Square studio.

BLACKPINK will also appear on ABC's "Strahan and Sara (GMA Day)" on Feb. 15.

The Good Morning America appearance precedes the band's performance at Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S. in April. If it happens as planned, BLACKPINK will become the first K-pop idol band to perform at the festival.

The band will embark on a concert tour of North America, Europe and Australia in May ― Amsterdam on May 18, London on May 22, Berlin on May 24, Paris on May 26 and Barcelona on May 28. The schedule for North America and Australia is not yet decided.

The group's current tour of Asian cities is a success, with three performances in Bangkok sold out.

BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016 and jumped to stardom with "Whistle" and "Boombayah," featured in their first single album "SQUARE ONE." Another hit song, "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," has had 640 million YouTube views, making it the website's most-watched K-pop music video of 2018.
