BTS began the European leg of "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" concert tour at Wembley Stadium in London, Saturday.

방탄소년단이 토요일 영국 런던 웸블리스타디움에서 'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' 콘서트를 열며 유럽 투어를 시작했다.

The stadium is a landmark venue for pop singers ― top musicians including Michael Jackson and Queen have played the iconic stage there ― and BTS became the first Korean group to hit the venue.

웸블리스타디움은 마이클 잭슨, 퀸과 같은 당대 최고의 가수들이 역사에 남는 공연을 펼친 곳으로 팝 가수들에게 중요한 의미를 갖는 곳이다. 방탄소년단이 이 곳에서 공연을 한 최초의 한국인 뮤지션이 됐다.

The seven-member boy band, made up of RM, Suga, Jimin, Jin, J-hope, V and Jungkook, performed in front of about 90,000 fans, who sang along from the first song, "Dionysus."

랩몬스터, 슈가, 지민, 진, 제이홉, 뷔, 정국까지 총 7명으로 구성된 아이돌그룹 방탄소년단은 9만명의 팬 앞에서 첫 곡 '디오니소스'를 불렀다.

BTS performed for two hours and 40 minutes, showcasing 24 of its most popular songs such as "Boy With Luv," "FAKE LOVE" and "Dope."

방탄소년단은 2시간 40분동안 'Boy With Luv', 'Fake Love', 'Dope'를 포함해 24곡을 열창했다.

"Today is a beautiful night. Welcome to our concert," RM said with a strong "British accent." Jin mimicked RM's accent and Jungkook bantered, commenting, "Jin's British accent is not as bad as I thought."

랩몬스터는 센 영국 발음으로 "오늘은 아름다운 밤이야. 우리 콘서트에 온 걸 환영해"라고 말하자 진이 랩몬스터의 발음을 흉내 냈고 정국은 "진의 영국 발음이 생각보다 나쁘지 않다"며 농담을 던졌다.

Jin, who said he had watched "Bohemian Rhapsody," a film based on the legendary rock band Queen, sung "Ey-oh," which ARMY ― the fans of BTS ― chanted with him, as he mimicked Freddie Mercury stretching his vocal chords at the Live Aid concert held in Wembley in 1985.

진은 전설적인 록 밴드 퀸을 주제로 한 영화 '보헤미안 랩소디'를 봤다면서 1985년 웸블리에서 열린 라이브에이드 콘서트에서 프레디 머큐리가 부른 "에요"를 따라 했고 팬클럽 아미는 이제 맞춰 소리 질렀다.

After the concert, BTS held a press conference, expressing its hope to work with British bands, especially Coldplay and Paul McCartney.

콘서트가 끝나고 열린 기자회견에서 방탄소년단은 콜드플레이, 폴 매카트니와 함께 작업하고 싶은 속내를 밝혔다.

"The most prominent musicians are from England, and we feel honored to perform here at this place," Jin said.

진은 "세계적으로 저명한 뮤지션들은 영국 출신들이 많다. 우리는 이곳에서 공연하게 되어 매우 영광스럽다"고 말했다.

V said, "I have loved Coldplay's music for a long time. I usually listen to their music when I come to the U.K., and I hope to work with them if there is a chance."

뷔는 "콜드플레이 음악의 오랜 팬이다. 영국에 올 때마다 항상 그들의 음악을 듣는다. 기회가 온다면 함께 작업하고 싶다"고 말했다.

RM said, "I went to Paul McCartney's concert a few months ago with J-hope. We would be honored to collaborate with him."

랩몬스터는 "몇 달 전 폴 매카트니의 콘서트에 제이홉과 함께 다녀왔다. 그와 공동작업을 한다면 매우 영광일 것"이라고 말했다.

The concert was aired live on the V Live website, Sunday morning(KST).

콘서트 실황은 V 라이브 웹사이트에서 일요일 아침(한국시각)에 중계됐다.

BTS performed again on Sunday, and will perform in Paris at the Stade de France in Saint Denis, Friday and Saturday.

방탄소년단은 일요일 한 번 더 공연하며 영국 투어를 마쳤다. 그들은 오는 금요일과 토요일 프랑스 파리의 스타드 드 프랑스에서 유럽 투어를 이어간다.
