Webtoon artist and TV personality Kim Hee-min, better known by his pen name Kian84, has bought a four-story building with a basement, located in Songpa-gu, eastern Seoul, for about 4.6 billion won ($3.9 million).
The 36-year-old artist's agency Mystic Story confirmed that Kim bought the building last November, but did not disclose further details, saying "It's a matter of privacy."
According to local news outlets, the building is leased to restaurants and cram schools.
Kian84 debuted in 2008 and became one of the most popular artists on the Naver webtoon platform through the "Fashion King" series, which was adapted into a film of the same name in 2014.
He also has been appearing on small screens, including MBC's reality show "I Live Alone."
