The phone comes with a super-fast charging capability able to charge it to 50 percent of capacity in just 30 minutes.

Samsung also unveiled the next generation foldable phone the Galaxy Z Fold2. The new foldable has significant upgrades from its predecessor to create unique user experience. The Z Fold2 combines the portability and flexibility of a smartphone with the power and a screen that expands to the size of a tablet.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 comes with two edge-to-edge, Infinity-O Displays ― the cover screen is 6.2 inches and the main screen is 7.6 inches ― and is available in two colors; mystic black and mystic bronze. Samsung is again partnering with iconic New York fashion house Thom Browne to deliver a limited Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne Edition.

The company also unveiled the next generation Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live. The smartwatch combines timeless craftsmanship with cutting-edge health and wellness features, while the Galaxy Buds Live boasts a stylish design paired with premium audio technology

The two products are convenient tools for maintaining lifestyle and daily routines that allow users to live healthier, communicate better and get the most out of the technology, the company said.

"Wearables are among the fastest-advancing technology sectors, and the pace of progress is only accelerating. In recent months, we've seen immense growth in the market as people turn to smartwatches and earbuds to help them thrive in the Next Normal" Roh said. "Since introducing our first smartwatch just seven years ago, we have become a leader in wearable innovation. Today, we're laser-focused on building on this momentum to offer new and differentiated experiences ― combined with the bold design and advanced technology that our customers have come to expect."
