K-pop artist Kim Hyo-jong, known by the stage name DAWN, is making a comeback with his first mini-album "DAWNDIDIDAWN," a year after his single "MONEY."
This will be his first mini-album since he made a solo debut with the single in November 2019.
The album, set to be released Friday, will have five tracks, including self-written songs.
The title song of the same name is produced by singer PSY, who is also the head of DAWN's label P NATION, and features singer Jessi, who belongs to the same company.
The album includes an R&B song "Still," featuring hip-hop artist Crush, and a remake of singer Kim Heung-kook's 1989 song "Swallowtail."
"This album will narrate DAWN's personal story as an artist and as Kim Hyu-jong," the label said Friday.
"DAWNDIDIDAWN" is set to hit streaming sites at 6 p.m.
DAWN debuted as a member of the boy group Pentagon under the name E'Dawn in 2016. When he was working with his former label Cube Entertainment, he also took part in a unit group Triple H with another group member Hui?and HyunA in 2017.
DAWN and HyunA later revealed that they were dating and ended their contract with Cube in 2018. The couple signed deals with P NATION in 2019.
