Korean gamemaker Krafton Inc. said Friday it will soft launch its new role-playing game title, Dark and Darker Mobile, in Canada next month ahead of the official global launch.

The preview release of the game will take place Feb. 4 (local time) in Canada to gather data on the North American market and improve the quality of its service, according to the Korean company.

Following the soft launch, Krafton plans to officially introduce the game in other countries throughout the first six months of this year.

"We are very happy to introduce Dark and Darker Mobile to global users first through a soft launch in Canada," Ahn Joon-seok, an executive producer of the game at Krafton, said. (Yonhap)
