Henry Tattersall feared that he would not get any Christmas presents after he spent £420 for downloading Xbox games.
Before Tattersall killed himself, he wrote on Facebook: "I'm going to kill myself."
His mother said that her son was very shocked by the amount of money he had accidentally spent for games. She said, "He was very upset that I was upset."
A detective inspector said that there was no evidence from Tattersall's phone that he had been bullied or had researched suicide methods prior to his death.

13살 소년이 컴퓨터 게임 구입비로 420파운드(한화 약 75만원)이 청구되자 스스로 목을 맸다고 영국의 데일리 메일이 보도했다.
이 소년은 컴퓨터 게임 구입비로 거액을 사용했기 때문에 크리스마스 선물을 받지 못할 것이라고 매우 걱정했다.
소년은 죽기 바로 직전, 자신의 페이스북에 “나는 자살할 것이다”라고 적었다.
소년의 어머니는 아들이 신용카드 청구서로 보고 굉장히 놀랐다고 말했다. 또한 자신이 화난 것에 대해 아들도 매우 놀랐다고 말했다.
담당 경위는 소년의 핸드폰에서 놀림을 당하거나 자살을 고민한 흔적은 없다고 전했다.
