A Canadian woman won a lawsuit she filed against Google, after the Internet giant's Street View capture a shot of her partially-exposed breast.
The Montreal High Court ruled in favor of the woman and order Google to pay her $2,250.
The company, however, won't have to pay the full $7,000 demanded by the woman, however; the court reduced the amount because the image displayed on the website was blurry enough that her identity wasn't immediately discernable.
According to CBC News, the unnamed woman was recorded by a Google Street View car in 2009 when she was in front of her house checking emails on her mobile phone.
Her tank top had slid off when the car was sweeping the locale.
Two years later, she visited Google and discovered that the wardrobe malfunction had been captured.

28일 CBC방송에 따르면 몬트리올 고등법원은 지난 2011년 몬트리올 지역 스트리트 뷰에 자신의 가슴이 노출됐다며 한 여성 주민이 낸 소송에서 구글에 캐나다달러 $2,250의 보상금을 지급할 것을 판결했다.
이 여성은 지난 2009년 봄 자택 앞마당 계단에 앉아 스마트폰으로 이메일을 검색하던 중 구글 스트리트 뷰 지도 제작진에 영상이 찍혔으며, 때마침 탱크톱 상의가 내려온 바람에 가슴이 노출됐다.
2011년 들어 그는 혹시나 하는 생각에 자택 인근을 스트리트뷰로 검색한 결과 당시 자신의 모습이 그대로 드러나 있는 것을 발견하고 구글을 상대로 제소했다.
법원은 여성의 손을 들어주면서도 얼굴과 가슴이 흐릿하게 처리돼 신원과 신체가 직접 노출된 것은 아니라고 판단, 그가 요구한 보상액 $7,000의 3분의 1 수준으로 보상액을 결정했다고 CBC는 전했다.
