Molly Manners Korea opened a global etiquette institute in Gwangmyeong City, Gyeonggi Province, with a ceremony on Saturday.

Classes at the Molly Manners Korea Global Etiquette and English Institute officially start on Jan. 5.

The institute said students would not just learn English as a language, they would also learn the power of manners and etiquette, and how and why they were valuable life skills that would help them succeed and achieve their goals.

Molly Manners is a multinational program with headquarters in the U.S. and branches in more than 33 locations worldwide. It provides a children and teens' program (ages 3-17) built on confidence and respect.

Its ESL (English as a second language) programs aim to help children learn and practice leadership, communication and social skills to make them comfortable and self-assured on any occasions.

"We just don't talk the talk, we walk the walk with you," said Molly Manners Korea CEO Sherlyn Kim. "Our goal is to give your child the necessary building blocks for a solid future through poise, confidence, integrity and leadership in an engaging and entertaining environment."

Philippine Embassy social welfare attache Lucita Villanueva attended the opening ceremony.
