Korean mixed martial art fighters Choi Hong-man and Lee Ye-ji lost their matches on Saturday.
Choi, 34, lost to Brazil's Carlos Toyota, 43 in an open-weight match at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan. Toyota, 190 centimeters tall, knocked out Choi (218 centimeters) 1:19 minutes into the first round.
Choi was reportedly called to the prosecutors' office on Thursday on a charge of swindling 100 million won ($85,000), according to reports before the match. Online website afreeca TV said while broadcasting the fight that Choi had borrowed the money to buy watches for his girlfriend and himself.

Reports on Sunday said Choi was disturbed by the reports and could not concentrate during the fight.
Lee, 16, a high school student, lost her debut match to Satoko Shinashi, 38. In an atom-weight match at the same venue, Shinashi won on a TKO seven seconds before the end of the fight.

로드FC 최홍만과 이예지가 25일 연달아 무릎을 꿇었다.
최홍만은 일본 도쿄의 아리아케 콜로세움에서 열린 로드FC 24 무제한급 매치에서 브라질의 카를로스 토요타에게 1라운드 1분19초 만에 KO패를 당했다. 압도적인 신장에도 불구하고 최홍만은 카를로스에게 얼굴 쪽 가격연타를 잇따라 허용하더니 오른손 훅을 맞고 쓰러져 일어나지 못했다.
최홍만은 매치 전 자신이 1억원 사기혐의로 검찰에 송치된 사건이 언론에서 언급되면서 경기 집중력에 방해가 된 것으로 알려지고 있다.
로드FC 데뷔전을 치른 이예지는 아쉬운 패배를 당했다. 이예지는 일본의 시나시 사코토와의 경기에서 2라운드 7초를 남기고 TKO패를 당했다.
경기 시작부터 어려운 경기를 펼친 이예지는 베테랑인 시나시의 공격과 기술에 말리며 이렇다 할 경기를 펼치지 못했다. 결국 2라운드 7초를 남기고 레프리의 게임 중단이 선언됐다.
