Conspiracy website UFO Sightings Daily posted footage that was captured on Jan. 3 of a mysterious flying object over the Colima volcano.
The website even speculated that the UFO caused the volcano to erupt.
The grainy footage shows the object appearing from the right side and then travelling in the line of the eruption.
The object then flies behind the eruption.
"I believe that as the UFO went over the mouth, it transported someone or something to the underground base below the volcano," wrote Scott Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily.

음모론자들이 멕시코 화산에서 미확인비행물체(UFO)를 포착했다고 주장해 화제가 되고 있다.
미확인 물체 전문 사이트 UFO 사이팅스 데일리 (UFO Sightings Daily)는 지난 1월 3일 촬영된 멕시코 서부의 활화산 콜리마 화산 폭발 장면을 게재하며 이 사진에서 미확인 비행물체를 발견했다고 주장했다. 웹사이트는 심지어 이 UFO 추정물체가 화산을 일으켰으리라 추측했다
사이트가 게재한 화질이 선명하지 못한 폭발 장면을 보면 한 비행물체가 오른쪽에서 나타나 분화구로 향한다.
화산은 분화구로부터 구름연기를 뿜어내고 곧 용암이 분출된다.
비행물체는 이내 용암 뒤로 자취를 감춘다.
웹사이트의 편집자이자 UFO 연구가인 스콧 워링은 “UFO가 화산 속에 있는 사람 또는 무언가를 수송하기 위해 분화구 안으로 들어갔다”며 이 비행물체가 UFO라고 주장했다.
