North Korea did not pay its share of costs for the June 12 summit ― Singapore did, including the hotel bill for the North's leader Kim Jong-un.

Kim stayed in the luxurious presidential suite at the St. Regis Hotel.

But Kim and his wife Ri Sol-ju are no strangers to luxury.

Kim is known for his attachment to watches and other luxury goods from Switzerland, where he studied. His reach also extends to yachts and automobiles.

Kim reportedly owns a luxury yacht, "Princess 95MY," from England that had a price tag of 6.4 billion won ($5.95 million).

A report in 2016 suggests that Kim's family has more than 5 trillion won ($4.7 billion) in assets.

Ri is seemingly fond of luxury fashion items.

It is said that the first lady is idolized, while her looks, clothing and accessories are often imitated.

Her favorites include Chanel, Christian Dior, Prada and Gucci.

Ri has been seen wearing a necklace from Tiffany & Co. that costs about 4.8 million won and carrying a Christian Dior clutch bag.

Kim and his wife wear Swiss brand Movado watches.
