BTS delivers a message of self love at the United Nations

K-pop supergroup BTS talked about overcoming self doubt and urged young people to love themselves during a speech to the United Nations on Monday (September 24).

Speaking to a group of youth leaders, Kim Nam-joon, better known as RM, the leader of BTS, talked about his own self-doubt and learning to embrace his flaws and fears.

"Today, I am who I am with all of my faults and my mistakes. Tomorrow I might be a tiny bit wiser, and that'd be me too. These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I am, for who I was and for who I hope to become."

The South Korean boy band's 'Love Yourself' album trilogy has topped the music charts since its initial release in 2017. (Reuters)
