Rapper Black Nut has been found guilty of defaming a female rapper with sexually abusive lyrics and stage performances.

Seoul Central District Court on Thursday sentenced the musician, 30, whose real name is Kim Dae-woong, to six months in prison. He avoided immediate imprisonment because the court suspended the term for two years. The court also ordered him to do 160 hours of community service.

Black Nut was accused in 2017 of sexually defaming KittiB in his song containing lyrics that apparently convey sexual humiliation of her. He was also charged with making defamatory on-stage actions against her four times between 2016 and 2017.

"As much as the protection of artistic freedom is important and valuable for the accused, the protection of the victim's dignity and reputation deserves due protection," said Judge Kim Hyun-duk. "The accused was tenacious in harassing the victim with sexually humiliating acts."

The judge said Black Nut showed no remorse.
