Lee Gi-kwang, a member of K-pop boy band Highlight, will release an album "I" before starting military service as a duty policeman.

The album, fronted by lead track "D.C.Y.E," will be released at 6 p.m. on March 18 (local time.) "D.C.Y.E" stands for "Don't Close Your Eyes," and is an R&B hip hop track making the most of Lee's low-pitched voice.

Concept photos will be unveiled on Tuesday, followed later by the track list and teasers.

Lee is also set to perform solo gigs at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Seoul on March 23 and 24.

On Apr. 18, he will enter Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province and then begin serving as a conscripted policeman at Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency.

Lee debuted as a soloist with the stage name "AJ" in 2009, and debuted as a member of boy band BEAST the same year. The group rose to stardom with several hits, including "Fiction."

He and four other members ― including Yoon Doo-joon, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob and Son Dong-woon ― did not re-sign with agency Cube Entertainment and instead formed Highlight.
