Police last week questioned K-pop star Psy in connection with a snowballing sex/drug scandal involving the YG Entertainment chairman.

The questioning took place on June 16, according to Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. It was part of an investigation into allegations that YG offered sexual entertainment to two investors from Southeast Asia in Gangnam, Seoul, in July 2014.

The interrogation focused on Psy's role. Psy denied allegations of any improper behavior, according to reports. Further details are unknown.

Last month, Psy admitted he introduced the two investors to YG chairman Yang Hyun-suk, but denied being involved in a prostitution service.

Earlier, police questioned a hostess, nicknamed “Jung Madame,” said to have arranged the illegal service. She denied being involved, according to reports.

“So far 10 people have been questioned in connection with the scandal,” said a ranking investigator familiar with the case. “They were quizzed in the capacity of reference witnesses (not suspects).”

He said it had not yet been decided when to summon the YG chairman.
