Zico's 'Any Song' challenge sets trend

K-pop artist Zico's new single "Any Song" has been topping music charts for eight days in a row after its release on Jan. 13.

The music, which Zico co-composed and wrote the witty lyrics for has been dominating charts on major music streaming sites, including Bugs, Melon, Soribada and Genie.

As well, a dance challenge called "Any Song Challenge," consisting of a simple movement and which can be uploaded on Instagram with its hashtag "Any Song Challenge," has gone viral.

Several K-pop artists and celebrities have participated in the challenge, including Korean singer Lee Hyori, K-pop girl group Mamamoo member Hwasa, K-pop singer Chungha and freelance announcer Jang Sung-kyu.

Zico will be performing his second solo concert "KING OF THE ZUNGLE ― WEATHER CHANGER" at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium at Olympic Park in Seoul, on Feb. 22-23.
