K-pop sensation BTS disclosed the tentative schedule for its 2020 world tour Wednesday.
The seven-piece group will kick off “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR” in Seoul on April 11, the band's agency Big Hit Entertainment said. For now, the septet is poised to play 37 gigs in 17 cities, including Los Angeles (May 2-3), Toronto (May 30-31), London (July 3-4) and Osaka (July 23, 25-26, 30, Aug 1-2). Its globe-trotting tour will round off on Sept. 2 in Tokyo.
One noticeable thing is that the venue for the June 13-14 concerts is being kept under wraps. Big Hit has not provided any hint.
“BTS successfully wrapped up the 'LOVE YOURSELF' world tour last year and is set to embark on the new one,” a company official said. “We only revealed the confirmed schedules this time, but will make further announcements if more dates are added.”
In 2019, the K-pop titan performed in 23 cities around the world, attracting more than 2 million concertgoers.
The band, comprising RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, will drop its fourth studio album “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7” on Feb. 21.
