K-pop act BLACKPINK has taken No. 33 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week with its latest single “How You Like That,” the American music magazine said Monday (U.S. time.) The name will appear on the chart on July 11.

“It's the group's fifth career entry and second top 40 hit,” Billboard said on Twitter.

In June, the four-piece act secured No. 33 spot on the same chart with “Sour Candy” ― its collaboration song with American pop star Lady Gaga ― and became the K-pop girl group with the highest ranking on the Hot 100.

The quartet previously entered the chart with tracks including “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (2018) and “Kill This Love” (2019).

Billboard added that “How You Like That” would also debut at No. 1 on its World Digital Song Sales chart.

“BLACKPINK's accomplishment is more noteworthy because the band made it without showcasing its musical activity in the U.S. due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,” YG said in a statement, Tuesday.

"How You Like That" is a pre-release from the band's first full-length album, which is slated to be out in September. It is a hip-hop track highlighting the members' soaring vocals, which encourages listeners to fly high despite all difficulties.

BLACKPINK, comprising Jenni, Lisa, Rose and Jisoo, debuted in 2016 and was propelled to stardom with a string of hits including "Whistle" (2016).
