Concrete, the most widely used construction material in the world, is responsible for 8% of the world's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

And as the world's concern about climate protection is growing, the contruction industry is exploring new technologies to reduce the use of concrete.

One way, experts say, is to return to wood as our primary building material.

Building all-wood high-rises might be the only chance to decarbonize the construction sector.

And to go along with this green trend, Korea has also begun its first step to build a wooden city.
