LG CNS began offering AM Discovery, a service enabling its cloud computing clients to utilize the latest cloud technologies, according to the IT service arm of LG Group, Thursday.

The company said it held a seminar introducing its AM Discovery service on Wednesday. AM refers to application modernization. To meet the needs of customers, the service builds and improves applications using the latest cloud technology.

With the AM service, new services or products tailored to consumers' needs can be quickly reflected in their IT system. It also minimizes the risk of functional failures because only the disrupted service can be fixed separately, LG CNS said.

LG CNS said its AM Discovery can solve pain points for its clients as its service includes three innovative programs including AM consulting, innovation launching and AM enablement.

AM consulting is a consulting service for clients who want to use AM in their existing IT systems. AM experts of LG CNS help their clients find areas in which AM can be applied.

The innovation launching program is a solution for clients who want to benchmark specific services in the same industry or launch new services.

LG CNS helps find the pain points for their client's business and design scenarios regarding new services. After that, LG CNS builds a prototype model to see whether its client technologies can be applied to the new service and let its clients conduct test operations with the prototype model.

The company added, the AM enablement program is designed for its clients who want to use cloud computing but have little technical capability and experience.

"The purpose of using AM is to help clients respond, grow and innovate rapidly in the fast-changing markets," Kim Hong-geun, chief account officer of LG CNS, said. "We will further solidify our position as a leading AM company based on our capabilities."
