The five members of boy group MCND — Castle J, BIC, Minjae, Huijun and Win — joined POPKORN, the K-pop channel of The Korea Times, to give special lectures on K-pop!

Short for "Music Creates New Dream," MCND debuted in 2020 with the song "Ice Age" under TOP Media. The quintet rolled out its sixth mini-album "X10" on Tuesday, which centers on themes of unity and teamwork.

For their lectures, all MCND members shared their knowledge and experience to engage the audience, giving detailed answers to different questions such as:

What is the difference between MR (Music Recorded) and AR (All Recorded) in live performance? What does the "center" mean in K-pop? How can K-pop stars develop mental strength?

Who did the audience pick as the best lecturer? If you want to find out, please check out our video!

Han Ho-jin, a K-pop team intern video producer at The Korea Times, produced this video.
