K-pop girl group aespa is set to release solo tracks from each of its four members on Wednesday, following the rave response to their performances at a recent concert, the group's label SM Entertainment announced.

According to a press release on Monday, the four tracks will be available on streaming platforms as part of a special digital single titled "SYNK: PARALLEL LINE." The included solo tracks were first performed during aespa's recent concert, "2024 aespa LIVE TOUR — SYNK : PARALLEL LINE," drawing calls from eager aespa fans for their release.

Among the surprise tracks, member Karina's solo song "UP" is a hip-hop dance track with a catchy chorus and minimal beats. The song, which became the most viral after its concert performance, is known to have Karina herself contributing to the lyrics.

Giselle's solo, "Dopamine," is an introspective R&B track about feigning disinterest in love, while Ningning's "Bored!" showcases an upbeat, rhythm-driven R&B dance sound. Winter's "Spark," the fourth solo, is set to deliver an ethereal and emotional EDM track, with descriptions all according to the label.

SM expressed confidence in the upcoming release in its statement, noting, "Since these songs have already gained popularity through dance covers and challenges on short-form video platforms, we expect significant interest in their official release."

In addition to the digital single, aespa is gearing up for the release of its fifth mini-album, "Whiplash," set for launch on Oct. 21.

The fourth-gen quartet debuted in 2020 with the hit single "Black Mamba," quickly rising to stardom as SM's latest girl group after Red Velvet. Since then, the group has actively delivered a series of chart-toppers, including "Next Level," "Savage" and "Spicy."

The group recently hit a major career milestone with its pre-release track, "Supernova," from its May "Armageddon" album, which was named one of the "Best Songs of 2024 (So Far)" by British music magazine Dork.

Forbes also reported that "Armageddon" debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, highlighting its success as one of the best-selling albums in the United States, fueled by a notable surge in sales.
